Sonia Garbarino

After studying fashion design in her native country of Paraguay, SONIA GARBARINO landed the pivot role of costume/wardrobe designer for a national hit TV show. Her designs caught the eye of hundreds of thousands of people in Paraguay. At the height of her career, she moved to the United States to further live out her dream as a fashion designer.

Her graceful eye for fabric, movement and the female form, afforded her the position of atelier of the most high-profile dress boutique in Washington, DC, Signature Boutique. While atelier and designer of her namesake fashion house, SONIA GARBARINO has dressed and tailored numerous brides, celebrities, models, pageant queen hopefuls and most notably Miss District of Columbia USA, Miss Virginia America and Miss Black Virginia USA.

More 6 original collections have been shown internationally, with her most recent showcase at New York Fashion Week, in collaboration with DUR DOUX experienced at SoHo’s Dreams on Air Boutique.

SONIA GARBARINO’s sense of style and hand-perfected craft have made her a sought-after couture designer in the DC area and beyond.
